Regarding my personal philosophy of teaching, I believe that the teacher's attitude towards the subject matter will have an impact on the ability of the students to learn. When I teach, I feel that it is necessary to be engaging, articulate, and enthusiastic to bring vitality in the course content. Encouraging the students in a positive manner will lead to a more positive and constructive learning experience.
Additionally, I hold within my philosophy the belief that there is no end goal to learning. While certain aspects such as content mastery, individual fulfillment, critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, self-directed learning, and discovery of knowledge are essential to becoming a successful learner, the acquisition of knowledge is an ongoing process that is limitless and interminable.
