Certified Tutor

I am a current undergraduate student in the Honors Program at the University of Florida. I plan to graduate this May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. As a Pre-Dental, Mathematics major and a devoted undergraduate researcher, I possess intuitive learning and research skills, specifically in math and sciences. I have succeeded in having a strong GPA, as well as scoring in the 99th percentile on the Dental Admissions Test and being accepted into a number of dental schools, including Columbia University, where I will be in attendance in the fall of 2018.
I have been tutoring for 8 years in subjects ranging from elementary school level math and sciences to college level math and sciences. Due to my undergraduate experiences and my fascination for the various teaching methods I have been exposed to, I have honed my learning and research skills to find a way to make subjects make sense to me. My longtime desire for teaching has led me to become an observant student, learning what works and what does not work when teaching students who are struggling. Consequently, I believe I am able to reteach what I know in a relatable and understandable way for all kinds of students.
