I am faculty member at the University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University, where I teach classes in the School of Business.
I have taught all levels of students, and focus on economics, business, management and strategy. My students have a variety of learning styles and ability..and I work hard to help each of them succeed.
As a tutor, I can help you with all business subjects as well as Spanish and History.
I have traveled all around the world and worked in large Fortune 500 companies, but one my greatest passions is helping young people to learn.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Hello!
As a college professor at several Florida universities, I work with students from all over the world with a variety of learning styles and abilities.
I work hard to make sure each student clearly understands my teaching and has grasped each new idea as we "build" towards an understanding of the subject matter.
Every student learns in a different way and has strengths and weaknesses. I will work with the student carefully to make sure my teaching is effective and that the student actually understands the material.
I look forward to helping you learn!
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Lets do a quick review to measure the skill level of the student. If the basics are solid, we can focus on the specific issues the student is struggling with. If they need some foundation work, we will do that.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
I love to learn, and I want my students to love to learn too!
By working on how to approach problems and making sure the basics are covered, we can build a foundation that will let the student progress and learn independently.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Let's focus on the student's goals!
Everything we do is part of a larger plan.
To achieve the bigger goals in life, we often have to do a bunch of "smaller" things, which might not be interesting, but will help us achieve the bigger things we want.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
I will approach the problem from a different angle, and try different angles until we find one that the student "connects with."
