Certified Tutor

I received my B.S in Advanced Chemistry with minors in Mathematics and Physics from Northern Arizona University. I spent over three years in college tutoring General Chemistry and Mathematics courses. Calculus, however, is my favorite subject to tutor, as it marked the point in my academic career where I began to actually enjoy math. My tutoring style is one that values fundamental understanding and critical thinking. I would rather a student walk away with a deeper understanding of their material, rather than a list of memorized steps. On a more personal note, when I am not pursuing math and science, I spend my time geeking out with board games, video games, computer hardware, and my awesome wife.
