I am a graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelors in English. Additionally I attained my masters in curriculum and teaching from Boston University.

I have a huge passion for all things English related from academic/research essay writing and literature analysis to creative writing and poetry. Through literature I have also have an interest in history and enjoy exploring the ways in which these two subjects connect.
I have spent the last two years teaching 8th grade math in Fall River Massachusetts and attaining my Teaching license in Middle school Mathematics. Through this process I was able to see the importance of balancing subject matter and curriculum knowledge with the human aspect of learning in how students of different interests and levels of previous knowledge require diverse strategies to reach their individual goals.

I am excited to connect with students and through the collaborative process support them in successful learning.
