Certified Tutor

I graduated from South Dakota State University with a Degree in Business Economics, as well as, minors in Accouting and Business Management. Since graduation I've worked in all sectors of accounting (Non-profit, Tax & Audit, and private accounting). I'm passionate about tutoring/teaching, honestly because I tutored in college (as a side gig to make some extra money) and just fell in love with it. Getting to connect with kids close to my age and help them learn in a new "modern" way satisfied me greatly. I'm most passionate about tutoring accounting but I've always loved math and enjoy tutoring that as well. I think the biggest factor in being able to tutor someone sufficiently is by understanding how they learn. I've learned that within tutoring math and accounting, students learn best by seeing the problem drawn out and solved. I believe visual learning is key when studying those topics/classes. I dedicate myself to helping others as in my free time I'm a fitness coach. A few other things I'm passionate about are working out, sports, my friends, and my dog.
