Isabella is a graduate student and graduate teaching assistant at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the Comparative Literature department. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelors in Classics and minor in Comparative Literature from Hunter College. Isabella acquired a love for teaching while working as a dance instructor at New York's iconic 92nd Street Y, during her time there she began tutoring some of her students in their school subjects. As a student of literature and a writer herself, she particularly loved helping her students improve their writing and working with her older students on their college essays. However, she also deeply enjoyed tutoring in English, History, Social Studies, Government, and Reading for her younger students. Isabella is very passionate about the Humanities, and the critical role they play in juvenile development. Fostering a love and comprehensive understanding of these subjects is Isabella's primary goal in her teaching.
