Certified Tutor

I attained my Masters degree in Teaching at Coastal Carolina University where I also earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics. I have been tutoring since I was in high school in 2010 when I was simply helping friends understand their classes. I started tutoring at the college level in my sophomore year and I tutored athletes. I love helping people understand the confusing parts of math. The people I tutor always pass their classes with an improved grade. I teach at the high school level and I believe I have a great relationship with them due to my humor. I tutor Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, College Algebra, Geometry, and even middle school math. As you can tell I love math and I have loved it since middle school. It has always been a thrill to solve a problem and get it right. I even used to race myself to see how quickly I could solve problems. I feel that everyone can learn a topic with the right instructor or help. We just have to have a growth mindset and recognize that just because I do not know it right now, that does not mean I cannot learn it ever!

When I'm not working on math or teaching, I tend to enjoy solving word search puzzles, reading, or even catching up on anime. I honestly enjoy anything that makes me laugh which is why I even have a TikTok. Do not hesitate to ask me for help in your math problems. I would love to!
