I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering and pre-medicine at Cornell University. I have always had a love and passion for science and math, but my strongest subject has always been chemistry. Every student has a unique learning style, and they may have to approach subject matter a different way than their school is teaching it. I have seen first hand students who do not understand material because the teacher will only teach one way to approach the problem. However, when these students were shown other methods, or had the concepts explained in a different way, they understood it!
I love helping other students work through problems in order to further develop their understanding of the material. My extracurriculars growing up, such as ballet and violin, taught me how important it is to mold teaching styles around each student rather than forcing them to fit the "one size fits all" mold. I cannot wait to help you with your studies!
