Former adjunct professor of mathematics for the University of Alaska Anchorage!
My first Bachelor of Science is in Mechanical Engineering, and my second Bachelor of Science is in Mathematical Physics. I supervised a math and physics tutoring center at the university for 2 years, and worked for that student service center for 4 years.
Our math lab was a community center style tutoring lab, no signing in or making appointments, in fact, no doors to our space at all! We had an enourmous volume of students from pre algebra all the way through calculus come through our constantly crowded lab, and hence have a 4 year tutoring marathon under my belt! Also employed by 4 other tutoring orginizations, I have been a private tutor for longer yet, and love what I do with the bottom of my heart.
