My role as an educator is to facilitate the intellectual growth of my students both academically and as individuals who are part of a larger society. I believe that students must be nurtured and motivated in their quest to find themselves, their individual voice, and their own belief system. It is my responsibility to guide them on their journey in discovering new ideas and concepts. I emphasize that only through asking questions will they actively learn.

My goal is for students to learn how to flick that switch in their heads, and in fact think differently. Students will learn how to think critically, ask questions, seek out the answers, and be actively engaged in their learning process.
