My spark is using positive, caring language to instill value and change mindsets one student at a time. Education is one of the most important aspects of life and it is our duty as educators to provide the best education possible to our students. In the United States, public schools are designed to provide an educational opportunity for all citizens so that everyone can attain the ability to improve their way of life. I believe that the foundation of education is based on the creation of a learning community where students learn and teachers deliver instruction effectively. My mission, as an educator, is to develop in each student critical thinking skills, a passion for learning, and mastery of skills/standards. I strive to create a professional learning community where parents and teachers work together for the common goal of educating students and instruction is geared for students' unique learning needs.
