Dr. Andrew
Certified Tutor
I have a passion for teaching. I have spent the last sixteen years teaching students of all age groups, including K- 12, college, and graduate students. I work well with students because I have the ability to make them feel at ease. In addition, I help students break down problems into simple components, which enables the student to understand how to go about solving any problem.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is to assist the student by enabling him/her to understand the components of the subject matter, and therefore understanding the overall subject matter.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
A first session would include an assessment of the mastery of the material by the student, followed by a review of the material that the student is unsure about.
