Certified Tutor

I am currently a graduate student at NYU pursuing a Masters of Arts degree in English and American Literature. I graduated from Colgate University in 2014 with a double major in English Literature and Environmental Economics.

I really enjoy tutoring test prep, especially the verbal and writing sections of the GRE and SAT, as mastering a few tricks and strategies of how to tackle these sections can make the tests much more approachable and fun. I also enjoy teaching essay writing and inspiring students to write captivating, unique college or graduate school essays. I recently spent an academic year tutoring middle school students in a Los Angeles public school.

I am a firm believer in inquisitive, question-based learning. I have a lot of energy and love to share my joy of all things English and writing!

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, creative writing, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
