Certified Tutor

I possess a BS in Physics from the City College of New York. I am also a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science. I consider myself thorough in my tutoring methods. I am well-versed in High School- and College-level Physics, Middle, and High School Mathematics (Algebra, Geometry including proofs, Trigonometry), Pre-calculus, and Calculus. I also have considerable knowledge of Macroeconomics. I received scores of 5 out of 5 on the AP Physics B exam and 4 out of 5 on the AP Macroeconomics exam in 2010 my senior year of High School.

I also have considerable experience working in machine shops and creating and interpreting technical drawings. I was on my High School robotics team. During college, I was an editor for a student research journal.

I am fluent in Spanish (spoken and written), and I can explain all Spanish grammar structures, verb conjugations, and such to Spanish language learners with ease.

Additionally, I can tutor in English Reading Comprehension and Writing as my skills in these areas are strong.

I have tutored High School and College students in Physics and Mathematics over the past four years and have been tutoring in SAT Mathematics for the past few months. I am always certain to pay very close attention to a student's problem-solving methods, and I try to do just enough to help the student move forward if he or she is stuck on a problem without giving away the answer.
