Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida where i received a double major in Biology and Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Cellular and Molecular Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I am also applying to UCF's graduate program in Biotechnology for Fall 2015. I recently just graduated Fall 2014 and am very eager to help those understand the material i am passionate about. Throughout my college career i informally tutored many of my peers and helped them get through some of the hardest classes in my major. I enjoy teaching Biology, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, and any other of the life sciences. I believe in order to teach effectively you need to step inside your students shoes and teach to their level of knowledge on the subject, which many professors have a hard time doing. With the right attitude and approach these difficult classes can be made so much easier and more interesting and that is my goal when teaching a student. Teaching has always been very important to me because i enjoy helping people learn and in some cases, students who have an interest in the sciences just need someone to show them how interesting and possible it can be to pursue a career in this field. Outside of academia, i enjoy playing piano, guitar, videogames, and drawing.
