I graduated from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University. I earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering and I am a registered PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at the West Virginia University. While an undergraduate, I studied in India for a six month semester. During that time I reveled in the culture and joined a group called "Disha" to teach English to primary school students. I have been a high school teacher in Grenada, teaching Mathematics and Chemistry as the School's sole Chemistry teacher. I absolutely enjoyed seeing the students grow from science introverts to build a national award-winning science project. I am torn between Math and Chemistry as my favorite subjects. Chemistry embodies science and I love helping students appreciate its principles and the simplify its seemingly turmoil. In Mathematics, my own educational and teaching experience have afforded many concrete examples which I use to depict its abstractness. Science and technology are the basis for industry off which everything else spins, and I am supportive to students on this magnanimous journey, to improve their lives and that of others. Some of my favorite past time activities include soccer (both playing and watching), kite making and flying, photography, cooking, and running.
