I have taught elementary and Middle School chorus and general music in Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia for 25 years. While teaching in public schools, I have also had the opportunity to participate in the after-school tutoring program for many years where I tutored several different academic subjects, such as English, grammar, reading, math, science, and social studies. Much of my tutoring experience was helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests. I believe all students need an unbiased and multicultural education with access to a broad spectrum of content and learning techniques. In my spare time, I enjoy singing, painting, dancing, acting, horseback riding, hiking, history, star gazing, trivia, and being a science nerd!

I am a professional singer/musician who has taught music, dance, drama, and art, as well as academic subjects. I speak fluent Farsi (Persian). Natural health, horseback riding, hiking, trivia, history, star gazing with my telescope, and being a science nerd are also on my fun list!
