To Get That A by Savannah - December 2017 Scholarship Essay
So, it is time to complete a school project and you want to get an A. If you have ever done a project before, you may be one of those students who likes to procrastinate until the night before and stay up all night and hope to still get an A. I'm sure we all know those projects don't look as thought out and neat as it should. So, if you need to complete a project you need to take the proper strategies in order to receive that A.
First and foremost, once you get the project it is vital to ask your teacher what they are looking for in the project. Some teachers will either request you build a model or create a poster board. Others prefer digital projects. It is important to know so you can plan out how you will create your project. Also, they may ask for as much detail or maybe just the right amount of information.
Next, you must start planning your project either that night or the next day. When planning it is most helpful to write it out on paper. It does not have to be a detailed plan just enough to give you an idea of what you want to do. By planning your ideas out can help you reference what needs to be made. Creating an idea of what you want can help you not to procrastinate because it will motivate you to want to make your ideas come to life.
Once you planned everything out, now you gather the items to start making your project. This may require going to the store, or finding household items to use. Once your materials are gathered it is important to start making it right away. As you make your project, remember to keep referencing your plan so you don't forget to add something. Once you finish and are satisfied with what you made, you must double check your work and see if you didn't forget any information.
