Academic Goal for the Upcoming Year by Ronald - August 2022 Scholarship Essay

Recently I've been accepted into the Master of Professional Accountancy graduate school program at the University of California San Diego. After working at accounting firms this year, I decided it was time to apply to graduate schools for accounting to be able to boost my career in accounting. I am glad that my university saw my merits in my resume and overall achievements finishing my undergraduate studies in accounting while working in a tax office.

I am looking forward to continuing my education in accounting on a masters level. I am also eager to learn as much in class and to network with professionals who are working or will be working in the same field. Academically, I want to achieve a 4.0 in my graduate school studies since all of my classes will be the meat of my knowledge for my career. I am eager to get ahead of my studies before classes start and start in on reading any material that I can have knowledge of beforehand so I can get a headstart and really absorb the knowledge needed to succeed in my classes. I am looking to give my best efforts into learning and get my classes completed successfully with the best of my abilities.

I look forward to absorbing as much detail in the nine months of my studies and walk away with refreshed knowledge in accounting and that my company or other companies see the worth of me finishing my masters. I look forward to the skillsets I will be able to develop with my graduate school studies.
