Impacting High School by Rebecca - November 2019 Scholarship Essay

I have positively impacted High School in ways that many would find hard. Often times I bring in baked goods to give out to teachers and students. I always have a smile on my face. I am always cheery. One teacher who I've never even had comments on how I'm always smiling and how it makes his day. I help students with their homework whenever I get the chance. I tutor people in music class every week. I don't use profanity and I try to be nice all the time and I feel am successful about it.

During school hours and also out of school hours, I help my sisters and follow students with homework in the math area and English. I am in all honours classes and ahead of the game in classes so it was easy to tutor. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I stay after school for an hour to help students out with their music and on their instrument.

Student body in our school is very important. I do everything I can to help out. I get along with everyone on student council to it is easy for me to help out. I participate in many different electives and extracurricular activities. My teachers say that I'm a joy to have in class and that when I walk into a room I just brighten it up. In short, I deserve this scholarship.
