I can sit here and think of all the things that have discouraged me and might have made me feel overwhelmed with my future, but on the other hand there is so much more encouraging me to make the best of my youth and have a strong outlook on my future. My family is the inspiration behind my success, and my hard work. My family gives me inspiration, love, and feeds me encouragement to continue my academic journey. They have supported me through countless milestones in my life giving me nothing but the best wishes no matter the hardships we may be facing.
The people closest to me have done countless things, and I feel there is something more I can do than a simple, “Thank you”. I want my family to be proud of what I will become by bettering myself with education. My grandfather once told me, “Sea ​​lo mejor que puedas, y será la mejor recompensa”, translating to “Be the best you can be, and that will be the best reward”. The best reward I can think of is seeing my family proud of my achievements, and have them join me through many more milestones.
Therefore, if there is one word that describes why I wish to attend college it would be Inspiration. I would pick this word because I am given inspiration by my family everyday to better myself and be the best I can. I have a feeling of wishing to do the absolute best for myself and my family because of all they have helped me accomplish so far.
