As I become closer to graduating high school and continuing my education in a collegiate school, the word "avidity" accurately represents my desire to continue my schooling. Continuing my educational career into college is something that is very important to me, and I am eager and enthusiastic to add upon my education, as well as looking forward to learning new skills that will assist me in my future career.
The word "avidity" is defined as a feeling of extreme eagerness or enthusiasm, therefore representing the excitement within my life as I move onto the next chapter of my education. Going to college has always been a dream that I have had an extreme desire and passion to achieve, and I am extremely eager to continue my learning. It is my goal to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts four year degree with a major in animation, and work for a large company such as Disney, Pixar, or Blue Sky, and continue my dream of working as an animator. It makes me excited to know that continuing my education through college will help prepare me for this goal and teach me a variety of skills I need to know in order to be successful for my future career. I am eager and excited to meet and connect with my professors in college, as they will help and provide me with guidance for my future career, and help me build a strong body of work to show to future employers when applying for internships, apprenticeships, and jobs. I am also looking forward to learning new fundamental skills that I will carry with me for the rest of my career, and use throughout my life when creating new projects. Within my learning process, I look forward to building a strong body of work, which will include animations, illustrations, and storyboards, all of which are crucial to a success of an animator. I will use these works to help provide me with a strong portfolio of work to present to my future employers directly out of college. While in college, I am eager to learn new skills and animation programs as well. Along with a portfolio, a strong understanding and comprehension of these programs will provide me with a strong understanding and foundation when going into a professional animation job. Ultimately, these are all crucial to my success, but I possess a strong sense of avidity when working towards my goals.
As I continue to get closer to beginning my college career, I realize how excited and eager I am to take this next step in my life. I can’t wait to work as hard as I can to achieve my goals, learn new skills, and continue doing what I love the most: art. I look forward to going into college with a strong feeling of avidity, and putting my full effort forth towards my education and degree.
