The Best Study Tool For Me by Lexie - September 2026 Scholarship Essay
Out of all the different ways and strategies of studying, only one has ever stuck with me. That one is bubble maps. You may be thinking "What's that?", well that's what I'm here for. A bubble map is a sheet of paper where you group ideas together to help you study. It's like transferring all the information grouped up in your brain onto paper.
Bubble maps is such a great way to study. It is always easier to remember things when you organize it in a way that caters to how you learn. Not only that, physically writing information down by hand helps your brain engage in the information more, this makes you more likely to memorize what you learn.
Your brain often processes information by grouping similar things together. Bubble maps sort of do the same thing. In a bubble map you have circles connected to one main idea or topic. The topic could be about food. Coming from that you could have one group for French cuisine, one group for Italian cuisine, and one group for American cuisine. All three of the cuisines would then be connected to the topic of food. This leaves a more organized but yet compatible study sheet.
