To Forever by McKenna - April 2018 Scholarship Essay
The hashtag I have created is #4toforever. Typically, a student aims to graduate college in four years. Once a student completes his/her four years of undergraduate, he or she is able to get a career using their degree or continue in education. Earning an undergraduate degree opens new doors and opportunities. The sleepless nights and hours of homework will be worth it all because a degree gives way to a possibility of a better life. This hashtag resonates with me especially because I am away from home, attending school out of state. I always use the thoughts of attending a university for four years is such a small amount of time compared to my entire life. The four years that I spend away from home will possibly help me with job security, putting me ahead of others who may not have the same education. The four years I work hard studying will pay off in the end. These four years I spend earning a degree will have a huge impact on my life in a positive way despite it being such a short amount of time. Each time I get homesick or feel down I remember, #4toforever. I have four years of schooling to earn a degree then I can have a better life. I have to work hard for four years out of forever, it isn’t that much time and I need to do my best.
