My dad has had an immeasurable impact on my life. He has been my role model, my friend, and my hero, instilling in me admirable characteristics that have helped me achieve my goals and become the person I am today.

Growing up, my dad's resilience and grace in the face of adversity were truly inspiring. When we were suddenly deported from Russia in 2016, he led our family with wisdom and grace, teaching me the importance of perseverance and optimism. He showed me that no matter what obstacles we face, we can overcome them with strength and determination.

As international missionaries, my parents' income was limited, but they taught us how to be good stewards of what we had and prioritize generosity. They showed us the value of money at a young age, teaching us how to budget, save, and invest wisely. Even with limited resources, my parents always found ways to help others in need, whether it was inviting guests for dinner or celebrating holidays and birthdays virtually with our relatives. This upbringing taught me the importance of resourcefulness, creativity, and generosity.

Despite their busy schedules, my parents have always supported my dreams and ambitions. When I expressed my desire to attend New Mexico Military Institute, my dad drove me over 3,000 miles to tour the campus and helped me secure enough financial support to attend. To help cover the additional expenses, he started a small car detailing business in our driveway and even included my brother, who has an intellectual disability. His entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to go the extra mile have taught me the importance of determination and hard work.

Thanks to his guidance and support, I am now a high school senior at New Mexico Military Institute, excelling in academics, leadership, and athletics. From being a RAT, the lowest rank on campus, to becoming an Executive Officer and First Lieutenant of over 85 cadets, my achievements are a testament to my exceptional abilities and commitment. As a member of the Honor Board and Constabulary, I am dedicated to serving others and upholding the highest standards of integrity. My participation in sports like swim and rugby has helped me embrace an active and healthy lifestyle.

My dad's impact on my life goes beyond what words can express. His resilience, resourcefulness, generosity, and unwavering support have helped shape me into the person I am today. He has been my guiding light, my confidant, and my biggest supporter. His love and guidance have helped me overcome every challenge and seize every opportunity. I am forever grateful for his influence in my life, and I know that his love and support will continue to be a constant presence in my life, inspiring me to reach ever-greater heights and achieve my wildest dreams.
