With leadership comes responsibility, honor and most of all success. It will gain more interest from outsiders which will produce respect for you and your opportunities. Leadership is proof of success. It is key to becoming successful in college, furthering your goals.

Leadership can be displayed throughout your whole college career. Sitting in front of class and answering questions will give the professor your full attention showing you are recognizing their interest in the subject. Starting group discussions and group activities will also gain you respect from classmates and professors. Being a leader does not always mean respect and honor, but also trustworthiness and selflessness. With a leader you are responsible for others mistakes and learn to teach them through experience and concern. You are named a leader because you choose others before yourself. It requires knowing what is good for all the people and not only yourself.

With these leadership skills, others will look up to you with esteem. College is full of choices with failures and achievements. Becoming a leader and not a follower will help guide you throughout the college journey. Being a leader will not only provide you with great opportunities but can also open doors to others that admire your leadership creating success.
