My parents have always told me since I was small, that I will be attending college no matter the circumstances. To reach the top is not easy, and not a lot of people have the chance to see the top. My mother and father grew up in Mexico and came to the US never got the chance to get their full education because pregnancy and work interfered. I wish to attend college because it’s metanoia.
Meaning College is the journey of changing one’s mind, heart, self, or way of life. College is the way of succeeding in today’s life. You need education to help you grasp upon whats going on around you and expand your learning. College helps you find yourself as a soul because it leads you to what you are destined to do in this life. We need more educated people to help new generations learn, and I wish to be part of that movement of making a difference with my knowledge I learned throughout college as well.
College is a tremendous change in someone’s life, and I want to attend college because it can change my mind. As we grow as a person our mentality changes as we age. I can enhance my point of view on life and people. College is a journey I want to be in, and experience I hope to have. I want to be able to spread my knowledge throughout the life of others like a wildfire being spread in a forest.
I value my future and I am willing to push myself through college so I can change and grow to succeed in life. College is metanoia because it will be the journey of changing my mind, my heart, myself, and way of life.
