My biggest goal this school year. by Leslie - September 2020 Scholarship Essay

Hi, my name is Leslie Quinones Arnero but most people call me lele. My biggest goals or goals this school year are to get a 3.0 or better in my Gpa.
I was thinking if I should start college or not. My four years in high school were not the best because of my choices as a teenager, but now that I'm out of high school I regret everything I did in high school. I had to promise my self the first semester in college I will do better than I did in high school. I promised my family I was not going back to the old me. I want my younger brother to see that everyone can change in life for the better. I don't want him going the same bad path in school as I did.
I owe my parents a lot for everything they do for me and my siblings. My parents didn't really get to go to my high school events because they were always working. Everything I do is for them. I work two jobs and I'm in college. I'd show them that all the hard work they are doing for this family is paying off with my grades in school. I want to graduate in honers to thank them for all their hard work they do for this family.
Getting a 3.0 or higher gpa will mean so much to me by seeing that no matter what happens in the past people can always change. I want to try my best to get that 3.0 my first semester no matter what it takes. I believe in myself and know what I am capable of doing.
