What educations means to me by Kayleigh - October 2022 Scholarship Essay
What education means to me can mean multiple things for me. One of them being able to obtain a deeper understanding and knowledge of a variety of subjects that I can use what I learned from the subjects to daily life. The things that I learned through education I can use the logic that I learned to make better decisions and help me interact with more people. Education is never always about just what’s in books. It can also be about obtaining practical experience outside being in the classroom.
Education to me can be about leaving a legacy behind. Having a legacy through education can leave a legacy passing through generations. Someday when I will have the education to leave behind in my name, I hope it would make an impact on my family or loved ones that I worked hard for what I did, and they can do the same also. It would not matter if I have a diploma and one day it disappears. Everything I still worked for it will always be behind my name. Leaving a legacy with education can be more helpful for your loved ones if they can see how hard you worked for what you did.
The most important thing for education is getting the feeling of success. Having the feeling of success can lessen the challenges you can face through life. The more knowledge you gain the more opportunities that will open up. Also allowing the individuals to achieve better possibilities in careers and personal growth. Being able to believe in yourself and have confidence, can only mean to have a better possibility of success for what you want to do. These are the reasons for what education means to me.
