Honestly speaking, I have done well in most aspects of my education and undergraduate studies. Writing papers in British Literature alone and adhering to the guidelines established by the instructor were the only things, that I initially found challenging. In addition, I needed to be able to effectively communicate my ideas, thoughts, and intentions in writing so that the teacher can see that I truly comprehend the material and am able to follow directions.
I worked diligently and consistently to study, comprehend, and reread the information to better understand the intended message of the material in order to increase my ability to achieve and master this area. Instead of allowing it to master and manipulate me. Even to the point of going as far as cross-referencing the information and simplifying it to be able to comprehend it better. I believed that if I understood the reading material better, I would be able to write papers on the numerous topics provided and express my opinions on a range of issues more effectively and fluently on the necessary level. My ultimate pursuit was to master the ability to effectively write papers on any topic chosen in British Literature.
Each article that was submitted, of course, received feedback or ideas that could be used to improve it. I didn't allow myself to get discouraged by that, so I took the advice and used it as a launching pad to advance my writing abilities. Because I keep an optimistic attitude, consider mistakes as learning opportunities, and implement and apply all tips to strengthen and expand my writing abilities. As a result, by the end of the course I was able to explain my ideas, thoughts, and intentions clearly in my writing and effectively respond to my instructor's questions on nearly any topic related to British literature.
This experience has given me the assurance that, despite the hard work, dedication, and perseverance required, I can succeed in everything I set my mind to, no matter how challenging or difficult it may be. My biggest dream is to one day work as a biomedical engineer and contribute innovative ideas to the STEM field that will improve the quality of many people's lives. I will keep using the same determination, perseverance, and passion to achieve my goals of becoming a biomedical engineer and advancing the discipline by instructing people on how using biomedical devices can improve their general quality of life.
