BREAKING NEWS: Serial Killer Caught by Forensic Evidence by Kaila - June 2023 Scholarship Essay
Ten years from now, I will be working for the FBI in a lab where I will be testing evidence. I plan on attending Howard University in Washington, D.C. I will be majoring in Chemistry and getting certified in forensic science there. Being in the D.C. area will open many doors in the government for my career. The city is home to the FBI headquarters and the location of numerous other government agencies and organizations that work closely with the FBI. This provides a unique opportunity to network with professionals in the field and gain valuable insights into the agency's inner workings.
Additionally, many universities in the area offer programs in criminal justice, law enforcement, and related fields, which can provide me with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills that are directly applicable to a career with the FBI. Pursuing my education in D.C. can be an excellent way to prepare myself for a successful and rewarding career with this vital agency. Forensic chemists are essential because they play a crucial role in solving crimes. They analyze evidence collected at crime scenes, such as blood, hair, and fibers, to determine important information about what occurred. Forensic chemists can help law enforcement identify suspects and build a case against them through their work. Without their expertise, many crimes would go unsolved and innocent people may be wrongly accused. Forensic chemists are a vital part of the justice system, and their contributions should not be overlooked. My future contribution will not be ignored, and I will get there through my hard work and perseverance.
