When students go off to college many do not realize that they are no longer going to be coddled and taken care of by their parents. Students are now in the real world that they've heard so much about their whole lives. Parents try to teach the kids certain things for them to take with them when they go to college in order to prepare them for what it is like in cold harsh reality. Reality is no joke, it is not going to wait for someone when they mess up, it is going to trample them.

In life it is the leaders who accelerate. Leaders set the path for others to follow. When you are leading you set your own destiny instead of following in someone else's footsteps. Leadership qualities can also protect students from doing life risking behaviors such as drinking and smoking, but it is completely up to the student whether they use their leadership qualities in the right, or wrong way. Leadership qualities are very important in life because they shape our future.
Students should use their leadership qualities in order to change the society in a positive way. Students don't realize how much of an impact one person can have on the society. One student can change the way everyone in their society acts, does things, or even the rules of the society, they just have to use their leadership in a beneficial way.
