As a graduating senior at Chickasha High School, I have experienced a multitude of changes throughout my four years. Our school has faced adversity to the highest degree, and struggled through many difficult situations. Although we were faced with such misfortune, our High School and community proudly united together to overcome obstacles that seemed impossible. I am most grateful for, and utterly thankful to, the teachers and faculty that have continuously supported, loved, and advocated for the students.
The years of my high school experience have been difficult for both students and teachers. Together we have overcome a variety of complications, such as embezzlement, teacher walk-outs, scandals, deaths, pay cuts, and most recently a Global Pandemic caused by Covid-19. Through these hardships, our teachers have constantly ensured that students have a quality education. The standard of my education has been increased because of the amount of support and knowledge that overflows from our faculty at Chickasha High. Each teacher I have had the privilege of having in class has sacrificed countless hours of their lives for their students, and treated students as though they were their own children. I am grateful to every single member of our faculty here that has dedicated their time to bettering my education, and increasing our school's moral.
Our community has a unique sense of pride that runs deep in each individual, and it shows in every aspect of our school. The teachers work hard, even if they are underpaid and overworked. I will always be grateful for their selflessness and strength that has influenced my life.
