My College Experience by Jaleighya - November 2016 Scholarship Essay

College is a time for growth and creating memories that linger throughout life. Students from all over venture out to discover his or her niche. Every person has a unique college experience. And today I would like the honor of sharing mine with you.
The dream college experience starts with the acceptance of change and thriving in life without the sheltering of my parents. Next, I should stay open-minded towards the new aspects of life. Finally, I have to believe I am making the correct decision by pursuing my career. Thus, my experience can begin.I hope to build strong relationships with my professors to ensure proper guidance. I want to excel in my career path and make innovations. I want to help pave the road for students after me. I dream to have the ability to practice in my field during school with internships and other opportunities. I plan to join clubs and organizations to further connect with fellow students on campus. And if a club already implemented does not suit me, I am beyond determined to create one so that I may too enjoy the pleasure of doing things I please.
College is what people make of it and I plan to make my experience the best it can possibly be.
