2021 Education New Years Resolution by Glenn - December 2020 Scholarship Essay

One education New Years Resolution I have for 2021 is to have a balance between education and life. College is very time-consuming and stressful. There is always another test to study for or another paper to write, during the semester there were times where I was stressed out by the amount of work assigned that I forgot how it was to live my life for a second outside my computer screen. I feel like everything should be balanced out so everything can be experienced without one thing keeping the weight for the others. School and social life are two very essential things to have, I feel like with your social life you are able to get out of your comfort zone and experience new things that can eventually help you succeed in your academics. Going to work, hanging out with friends and family are always important so that you can be emotionally stable and not too stressed about one thing.

In order for me to achieve my resolution, I know what steps I have to take. Making a schedule is crucial as it would help me organize all my activities throughout the month and be stress-free from any particular event. I want to be calm and ready for the new semester and being able to organize my time will help me a lot with my balancing of life and school. All I have to do is to make sure I follow my schedule perfectly, although I have a lot of events to go through I know I will be able to manage it. I work, have a social life, and study hard for my classes so I know how I will be able to manage all of them perfectly sooner or later as I get used to it. I want to succeed in all of them as well, school is the most crucial but being able to do good there and at work would be perfect. My social life is not the most important but I still enjoy going out and living my life the best possible way.
