College is the time where you learn to grow up and learn about yourself. There are valuable life lessons that college can offer for the rest of your life such as: independence, motivation, and how to work with diverse groups of people. College will provide an opportunity to be independent by living on my own, supporting myself, and being successful. Being motivated is also a life skill that college can offer me. By me being motivated it can help me to be who I want to be when I’m older and to see my full potential in the career I choose. Working with others in college is very useful because I will be working with people every day in the career I choose. I might have to work in a big company and you have to share thoughts, or I’m a waiter and have to talk and listen to customers. Independence, motivation, and working with others are skills that all successful people have to learn.
During my college experience I would be very thankful to learn many of the skills I need for my life. College is the time to enrich your life from the skills you learn. Learning is important to me, I want to know as much as I can to be the successful teacher I want to be. I want to walk in class with my head held high with confidence and sit and write down notes and ask questions. I know I will have a lot to learn in college and I am determined to achieve that. Learning in college can give me an opportunity to know if that is the real career choice you be devoted for your life. I am going to college to be a teacher but may realize that career isn’t for me, so I could switch my major. Professors can give me the positive learning I need, it can make learning more enjoyable. Learning to be hands on and taking notes can be very important in the learning experience. In high school people are forced to learn in some subjects that maybe weren’t the best. But in college you have a choice if you wanna learn or not. I could learn to write notes, but if I am not the best doing hands on learning I will have to work harder on learning to improve. I will need these skills for my future job opportunities. Learning also can be eye opening, I will learn things that I didn’t know about a career that I didn’t know before. Learning is an honor in the world today as some people may not get the opportunities like I will have.
I am grateful the learning I will receive from my college experience. Without the support and the help I need from the professors learning about the career would be more difficult. I am so grateful to be able to get the learning experience I need to be the best teacher I can be. Learning is a skill that some people take for granted, but I appreciate all the learning that will come from my college experience.
