Qualities for the Nobel Prize by Elizabeth - December 2018 Scholarship Essay
Being on the committee to choose the Nobel Prize winner takes lots of responsibility and attention to detail while evaluating the contestants. You look for the best in each and every one of them. Two of the most important qualities that I would look for are humility and integrity. These qualities can define the best leaders and can be the qualities that can determine whether or not you win the Nobel Prize. Humility, giving the recipient humbleness, is important because if they were given the opportunity to win the prize, they would not gloat or boast about winning. The other quality, integrity is such an important quality because it would show that they are honest and accomplish their work while being trustworthy. The recipient needs to be fair in the work they accomplished. People with honor and the ability to sympathize and empathize with others are the kind of people that deserve this kind of award. They should be able to be an intelligent individual while having the humbleness that is required while receiving this award. Their honesty should come from a place of wanting to help others, no just benefiting themselves. Each of the recipients may have lots of other astounding qualities, but in my opinion, these are the two qualities it takes to be a winner.
