My dream classroom is where I get to be six feet from the other students. My dream classroom is where a glass separator separates the professor and the students. My dream classroom is where there is a speaker for each student and there is one for the professor so that people can speak up and still have discussions regarding the matter. My dream classroom is one where everyone is always wearing a mask but there are separators so the professor does not have to. This is the new norm and this might be how fall semester classes take place for us to go into classes while still being cautious for the health of all.
2020 has made our expectations of a dream classroom, dream education, dream vacation all different. The new norm is different as with masks and staying six feet from others. It is different with online education being a big alternative. With online education, also comes a lot of responsibility to the student and the teacher where the connection, assignments, and assessments become rather different. This is the new norm and we must do what it takes to make this work and continue our education for the time being.
