"If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader" This was said by John Quincy Adams, former President of the United States, in the context of saying that a leader is someone who makes a change and inspires others. The Nobel Prize is an annual award given to those who have made a change and shown outstanding character and work. Two qualities that are essential to receiving this award would be rectitude and the ability to inspire.
The meaning of rectitude is having morally correct behavior or thinking. This quality is important because it shows that you have just intentions and will do right by others. If a leader does not have this quality, they possibly could have ill intentions and deceive those who are believing the lies that are being told.
Having the ability to inspire others is significant, to encourage others to answer the call of service and help. One's inspiration can motivate others to want to do the same and possibly impact this world for the better. This characteristic is needed to be a recipient of the award because without someone to be a role model for the upcoming generations, the people to come will have no direction and guidance.
The two needed qualities of a recipient to receive such an award are rectitude and the ability to inspire others. Rectitude will ensure that the leader will go by what is right, and not because of his/her own personal gain. Also, the ability to inspire others is significant to keep the dream of going above and beyond to help others alive. These characteristics along with many others frame the perfect recipient of the Nobel Prize.
