My education has established the foundation I need to flourish in my future. I immensely thankful for the high caliber of teachers I have had the pleasure of learning from over the course of my life. Not only have they taught me the necessary academic skills to succeed in life, but also priceless life lessons.
Without my teachers constantly pushing me to excel and improve myself, I would not be where I am today. They have urged me to be more than just mediocre. Thus, they never allowed me to not perform to my full potential. At times this made me frustrated because I was held to a higher than my classmates; however, this taught me how to push myself beyond limits I previously thought impossible to achieve.
My teachers have also opened my eye to a whole new world of phenomenal interests. If not for my history teachers’ enthusiasm, I do not think I would be so passionate about social issues. Thus, their devotion has inspired me to pursue a degree in political science after I graduate for high school. I would have never been able to accomplish this goal without their guidance.
Finally, my teachers have helped me understand the true meaning of compassion and empathy. They have spent countless hours preparing, teaching, and grading in order to make my peers and me better students. This shows just how selfless of humans my teachers were to me.
Overall, the aspect of my education that I am most thankful for is the role my teachers has played. Without them, I would not be the person I am today. I am eternally grateful for all the knowledge they have provided me.
