I Will Be Successful by Ashley - December 2015 Scholarship Essay

In ten years I see myself as a successful teacher in a local public school. My education will help me get there because I am going to have my masters in teaching and want to give back to my community as much as possible. I want to be that teacher that every parent wants their child to have and the one that every child remembers for years to come. In a world full of negativity and bad situations I want to be that positive light that shines for as many children as I can come in contact with. I chose teaching because I felt like that would be an atmosphere where I could have a positive impact on the most people and my education is what will help me get to the place where I feel like I belong.

I also see myself traveling as many places as possible in 10 years. I want to see the world and having my education and a well paying job is what will help make that a reality. Also, having the schedule of a teacher it will make it easier to travel in the summer and on breaks. Without an education none of this would be possible. No matter what happens in 10 years I will be successful because I have committed myself to my education and becoming the best educator that I can.
