My Teacher's Passion by Andrea - November 2015 Scholarship Essay

Throughout my years of high school, I haven’t been the most enthusiastic about learning. At times during the past four years, I haven’t been motivated to go to school just to feel stressed about what was going to be thrown at me. Upon my arrivals, there have always been teachers in my classes that have felt otherwise. I am blown away by how passionate they are about, not only about their jobs, but about the students and their education. There have been several occasions where a teacher has gone out of their way to help me with my schoolwork and personal concerns. Their positive energy influences my learning during the school day because their attitude persuades me to try my best without feeling miserable. All the pressures of the education system are simplified and challenge me to put all my effort in the benefit myself, just as the teachers wanted of me.
I am thankful for them because they have influenced my life. I know now how to be a great role mole because I strive to find myself in a place that I love just as much as they love theirs. I want to help others and care as much as they do about their students. They have helped my education with their passion to help me. Not only have my grades and academic successes improved, but my outlook to help others just as they have helped me as well.
