Have you ever encountered a moment when you had total confusion over a miscommunication? I sure know it has happened to me. This is why a soft skill like communication has the biggest impact on a successful education.

Communication is a way to advocate for yourself when you need help in school. Talking to your professors/teachers when you need help on your school work is a way to be successful in class and understand what you're learning. When I really can’t understand something or I’m having a hard time I talk to my teacher about it so we can see what I need to work on and what we can work out.

I also communicate with my boss about what they want me to do and how to do it so there is no confusion. Communication is a way to elevate oneself in the world; talking to people about your interests and your skills will help you further yourself. Networking is a good way to move up in the world and make something of yourself.

This is why I think communication is a great soft skill that will lead to educational success. A lot of student in my generation don't know how to communicate face to face, or even electronically; they don’t communicate what they want or need. But that is not me. I will speak for myself and for what I need to succeed.
