Immigration has always been a part of my story. My Grandmother came to the U.S in hopes of a better life for her and her two younger sisters. As I view the world, I believe that everyone should have the right to a better life and that is why I chose to become an immigration lawyer. All I have ever wanted to do is help my family and my friends have the best life possible.

Being accepted into the law program at University Of Mary has helped me jump start my future career. That is the first stepping stone to my life as a lawyer. I have always had a connection to immigration and a passion for it(118). I believe that the passion I have for law can help my drive to become very invested in my work. I do not like to step down from a challenge or back down from a fight. I will not quit until everyone has the right to a happy and safe life(169). I also believe that I bring a positive attitude to everything I do. I like to see the brighter side of things and that helps one concentrate in what they want to achieve. That is the reason why I hope to become an immigration lawyer.
