Certified Tutor
My academic journey began with Master's degrees in Biotechnology and Oncology, which laid the foundation for my passion in biomedical research. I went on to earn a Doctorate in Cell and Molecular Biology from Paris XI University in France, with a focus on blood cancer biology. Following my PhD, I spent 10 years at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the U.S. conducting postdoctoral research and mentorship, specializing in blood stem cell metabolism and cancer. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of mentoring numerous undergraduate and graduate students, PhD candidates, and research technicians.
Although I tutor a wide range of subjects within biology and biotechnology, my deepest passion lies in hematology, oncology, stem cell biology, metabolism, genetic engineering, physiology, microbiology and biochemistry. My teaching approach is both structured and adaptable. I emphasize clear goals and organized content delivery, while remaining flexible to adjust my methods based on individual learning styles and students' evolving needs. This balance allows me to create a supportive environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring new perspectives through documentaries and biographies, as well as engaging in adventurous activities like scuba diving and rock climbing.
