I am a dedicated educator with a passion for making science engaging, accessible, and meaningful for students of all backgrounds. With a Master of Science in Biology from Arizona State University and a Master of Education in the Art of Teaching from William Carey University, I have spent years helping students navigate the complexities of science with confidence and curiosity.
My teaching experience spans both in-person and virtual classrooms, working with middle and high school students in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Environmental Science. I have taught in traditional school settings as well as online learning environments, allowing me to develop a versatile teaching approach that adapts to each student's unique learning style. Whether guiding students through hands-on experiments, breaking down challenging scientific theories, or connecting lessons to real-world applications, I strive to create a learning experience that is both educational and inspiring.
Among the subjects I tutor, I am especially passionate about Biology and Environmental Science. I love helping students see how these disciplines relate to the world around themfrom understanding how ecosystems function to exploring the latest advancements in biotechnology. Science is not just a subject to memorize; it's a way to think critically, ask questions, and solve problems. My goal as a tutor is to foster that curiosity and help students build both knowledge and confidence.
My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I believe in meeting students where they are and using customized strategies to reinforce concepts, whether through visual aids, discussion-based learning, or hands-on problem-solving. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their own scientific reasoning.
Outside of academia, I enjoy cooking and exploring different cuisines from around the world, as well as spending time outdoors. These interests fuel my love for science, as I often draw connections between biology, chemistry, and everyday life.
I believe that education is a powerful tool that opens doors and expands opportunities, and I am committed to helping students achieve their academic goals while developing a lifelong appreciation for learning.

Outside of teaching, I love exploring new cuisines and experimenting in the kitchen. Cooking allows me to combine creativity with science, especially when learning about different ingredients and how they interact. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s going for a walk, gardening, or simply appreciating nature. These interests connect to my love for science, as I’m always curious about the natural world and how things work. In my free time, I also enjoy reading, discovering new music, and spending quality time with my family. I believe that learning happens everywhere, not just in the classroom, and I love finding ways to connect my hobbies to the subjects I teach!
