Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Francis Marion University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. I majored in English and minored in Mass Communications. I have 20 years of classroom experience working with K-5 students with a specialty in Special Education. I have worked in several different capacities, reading Interventionist, reading and math Resource, and a math and reading tutor for 8 years in a state funded after school program. I have always had a passion for teaching, especially reading. I strongly believe that literacy opens up the door to endless opportunities and bridges generation educational gaps. I will always meet the students on their level, but promise to challenge them to become the best versions of themselves.
