Certified Tutor

I am a recent graduate of Trinity University, a liberal arts college in San Antonio, Texas, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Cellular and Molecular Biology in December 2024. I graduated a semester early and will be starting dental school in the Fall of 2025.

My tutoring experience stems from being the eldest daughter of an immigrant family, where I naturally took on the role of assisting with academic challenges. In college, I expanded my teaching skills as a teaching assistant and peer tutor for the First-Year Experience (writing section) course and General Chemistry. These roles have honed my ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively.

I am enthusiastic about helping students of all ageskids, teens, and adultsimprove their English or learn Mandarin. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, my true passions lie in Chemistry, High School Math, Writing, and DAT preparations. My strongest suit on the DAT is the Natural Sciences sections (Bio, Orgo, GenChem). I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs.

As a firm believer in the transformative power of education, I view it as essential for improving one's quality of life. My goal is to instill this same appreciation and motivation in my students.
