Certified Tutor

Helping students has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From being 11 helping eight-year-olds learn karate, to being a senior and helping 12-13-year-olds learn about drug safety. I enjoy knowing when someone can learn something new or understand a concept better due to my teaching, which is why I am passionate about tutoring.

My experience working with students primarily was in high school. I volunteered at my church working with four-six year olds in sunday school, making sure they were staying on topic and helping them understand why they were doing the things they were doing. I also was in a class called developmental psychology where I went to the middle school and taught sixth graders the basics of drug safety and what to look out for.

I currently get my education from the University of Minnesota. The current degree I am going towards is a major in psychology and a minor in sociology crime and justice. Right now I'm working towards my bachelor's but I plan on going to grad school and getting my doctorate in psychology.

The subjects that I will be tutoring are middle school math and high school science but I also plan on doing high school math and psychology classes.
